Section 01

What we are aiming at#

WCAG 2.2 at level AA. We are not claiming we have finished — this page exists to tell you where we are, not to award ourselves a certificate.

Section 02

What is in place#

• Pinch and zoom work. We removed the zoom lock that made the 3D feel app-like, because reading a price list on a phone matters more than that did.
• Motion respects your settings. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animation across this site stands down.
• Keyboard focus is visible. Every link, button and field shows a clear focus ring when you tab to it, and on every text page a skip-to-content link is the first thing you reach.
• There is a text route to everything. The flavours, the boxes, the FAQ and these policies are ordinary HTML pages that work without the 3D and without JavaScript running.
• If your device cannot run the 3D, it is not a dead end — you get a readable page instead of a blank screen.

Section 03

Where we fall short#

Honest list, kept current:

• The homepage is a 3D experience, and a scroll-driven one. It is the least accessible thing we make. That is why every piece of information in it also exists as a plain page — the flavours, the boxes and the FAQ — and those pages, not the homepage, are the ones we hold to AA.
• We have not had an independent audit. Our testing is our own: keyboard, zoom, reduced motion and screen-reader passes on the text pages. An outside audit is something we intend to pay for, not something we have done.
• Some decorative artwork has no text alternative, deliberately — a background pattern announced to a screen reader is noise, not information. If something you needed was treated as decoration by mistake, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

Tell us when it blocks you#

If any part of this site stops you doing something, email hello@pikit.store and say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. You do not need to know the terminology or name a guideline — “I could not get to the flavour list with a keyboard” is a perfect bug report.

We answer accessibility mail first, before anything else in the inbox. If the fix is quick we ship it that week; if it is not, we will tell you what it will take and when.
